About Faren…

I do not counsel from a distance. My work as a therapist is deeply personal, rooted in a life saved, healed, and continually restored by Jesus. I sit with clients not as an untouched expert, but as someone who knows the rugged terrain of healing firsthand.

Originally from the East Rand of Johannesburg, South Africa, I carry a background shaped by grit and grace. After ten years in Canada, my husband Benjamin and I moved to the highlands of Ecuador to serve as missionaries with Action International. We spend our days serving local churches, rehab centers, and kids in surrounding rural villages.

At home, life is delightfully chaotic with our dog Bazooka, a delightfully neurotic bird named Blixim, and our bunnies, Bop and Bamboo. Outside the counseling room, I lean into outdoor adventures that keep me humble and reliant on God.

My practice combines clinical expertise, real-life experience, and faith in Christ. If you are looking for an authentic partner on your journey toward healing, I would be honored to walk with you.

If you can suffer, you can succeed
