Prepare/Enrich Couples Course

Why Choose Prepare/Enrich for Your Relationship?

Developed by Leading Relationship Experts

Prepare/Enrich was created by some of the foremost experts in marital and relationship counseling—including renowned professionals like Dr. Ellyn Bader and Dr. Peter Pearson—whose work has paved the way for modern relationship education. With over three decades of refinement and real-world application, the program is the result of extensive research, thousands of hours of clinical practice, and rigorous peer-reviewed studies. It has been continuously improved since its inception in the 1980s to stay current with evolving relationship dynamics.

Scientifically Grounded & Statistically Supported

At its core, Prepare/Enrich is more than a questionnaire—it’s a robust, scientifically validated tool built on decades of empirical research. Multiple studies in respected journals have shown that couples who engage with the Prepare/Enrich assessment not only gain deeper insights into their relationship but can also experience up to a 30% reduction in divorce risk. The program’s design is informed by data from hundreds of thousands of couples, and its 30-plus tailored categories (covering topics like communication, conflict management, finances, and spiritual alignment) are continuously updated to reflect the latest psychological and sociological findings.

Gain Deeper Insight into Your Relationship

The assessment offers an in-depth evaluation of your relationship dynamics. Research has demonstrated that even the process of reflection—simply completing the assessment—fosters greater awareness of key aspects of your partnership. Whether it’s understanding how your personality traits interact with those of your partner or recognizing the subtle impacts of family background, Prepare/Enrich is designed to make the invisible, visible.

Explore Comprehensive Relationship Dimensions

Prepare/Enrich looks at a broad spectrum of relationship factors. From assessing communication and conflict management to pinpointing unique challenges like remarriage or preparing for parenthood, the assessment delves into over 30 specialized areas. This thorough approach ensures that your experience is both personalized and holistic, backed by the latest research insights into what makes relationships thrive.

Build Relationship Skills for Long-Lasting Growth

This isn’t a test you can “pass” or “fail”—it’s an opportunity to uncover the strengths and areas for growth within your relationship. The feedback you receive is designed to open the door to meaningful conversations, helping you address challenges head-on while celebrating your unique bond. With skill-building exercises in assertive communication, active listening, and problem-solving, Prepare/Enrich equips you with actionable tools to nurture a resilient partnership.

How do the fees and booking process work?

Partner 1 makes an online booking, under “courses”, choosing the “Prepare/Enrich Course (Couples)”. Partner 1 will fill out basic information for both partners and upon reviewing that information, Faren will email each of you (Partner 1 and Partner 2) a link and unique code which you will each use to access the private assessment. The assessment may be completed at separate times, on individual devices, and from any location. Please ensure that the assessment is completed at least 6-hours prior to your scheduled session. Unless the assessment is completed by both parties, the session will not proceed. It may be rescheduled, but refunds are not offered.

During your 90-minute session, Faren will share the results with you. You will each receive a copy (digital) of your couple’s report which will show the results based on each of your individual answers. Faren will review the results with you, section by section, as well as share the (digital) workbook with you, and help you see how certain exercises or strategies may benefit your relationship. Some time will be spared to help you determine your health as a couple and a mutual way forward. You may book a follow-up couples coaching package with Faren at a discounted rate (only $50 per session for four sessions) should you want Faren to continue to facilitate couples therapy with you.

Please note - there are religious and non-religious versions of prepare/enrich available. You will be able to select your preference on the intake form. If you would like more information before proceeding, please contact us.
